GPSC-OR unveils G-Box, a Battery Energy Storage System, at a PTT station, a solution from PTT Group for electric vehicle trends.

Mr.Auttapol Rerkpiboon President & CEO, PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), Mr. Worawat Pitayasiri, President & CEO, Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) and Miss Jiraphon Kawswat President & CEO, PTT Oil Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR) unveiled G-Box, a 150 kWh Battery Energy Storage System, which will further develop and build upon G-Cell, using Semi-Solid technology, at PTT station Nongkhaem, as a pilot project to maximize the stability in power usage for EV station’s customers and to meet EV trend. Apart from supporting EV Station, the system will store energy during the off-peak period for peak period supply and provide comprehensive power supply solutions for different activities at the station and ensure power supply stability and energy cost reduction through effective energy management. This project symbolizes the synergy between PTT Group companies to create sustainability for the group’s businesses.
