GPSC Welcomes the Energy Minister Visit The G-CELL Battery Production Plant

On 26 February 2021, Dr. Pailin Chuchottaworn, Chairman of the Board of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, welcomed Mr. Supattanapong Punmeechaow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President and Chief Executive Officer of PTT Public Company Limited, together with a group of distinguished guests, to a GPSC’s  energy storage unit production plant or G-Cell Battery factory, located in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Muang District, Rayong Province. The group was also shown a production demonstration of semi-solid battery cells using technology developed by 24M Technologies Inc. The successful operation of the plant will mark an achievement for GPSC as Thailand’s leader in battery innovation. The plant is currently in the testing phase and will be ready for commercial production in the second quarter of 2021.
